Inage Sengen Shrine’s Kagura Ceremonial Dance The ceremonial dance “Kagura” performed at Inage Sengen Shrine is a type of Kagura dance known as “Iwato Kagura” or “Jindai Kagura”, both of which derive from Japanese mythology. Kagura was brought from Kyushu in 1504 (Eishō Period) and it was traditionally passed down to the eldest sons of old established families.
